For the opening event in SAAGO’s season, Guy Whatley, organist at Camelback Bible Church in Phoenix and organist and harpsichordist for True Concord, will present an organ recital with works centered around the German chorale “Vater unser im Himmelreich” (“Our Father in Heaven”). The concert will include works by J. S. Bach, Georg Böhm, Anton Heiller, Felix Mendelssohn, Jean Langlais, Samuel Scheidt, and Gerald Near. A catered dinner and business meeting will follow at 5:00.
