Pedals, Pipes & Pizza January 27

SAAGO is pleased to host another Pedals, Pipes, & Pizza program on Saturday, January 27, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:45 p.m. at St. Mark’s Presbyterian Church, 3809 E. Third Street, Tucson.

This popular program is a wonderful opportunity for Middle and High School music students, their teachers, and parents to see, hear, and play a pipe organ. Activities include:

• An organist playing a demonstration piece.
• How the organ works – see it from the inside out!
• How the console works – students get to sit at the console and play the organ.
• Enjoy “Rex, The King of Instruments,” a delightful composition performed by Janet Tolman and John Neve.
• Pizza and soft drinks for lunch.
• Individual instruction on basic playing techniques. Students will get hands-on experience playing the organ.
• Students perform a piece of their own choosing on the organ.

The Pedals, Pipes & Pizza event is FREE. Parents and friends are welcome to attend. Space is limited, so register your students now. You can download registration form at the link below, or contact Dr. Raymond Ryder at 520-661-8231 or
