Julia Tucker is an Organ Performance Doctoral Student at ASU, studying with Dr. Kimberly Marshall.  She holds a degree in Piano Performance from Auburn and Masters of Piano Performance and Masters of Organ Performance from Syracuse University’

She is the 2017 recipient of the Civic Morning Musicals award for excellence in organ and piano performance, the 2017 Syracuse University Visual and Performing Arts Master’s Award and was a finalist in the Strader Organ Competition. She was a faculty member at the 2018 Pipe Organ Encounter in Phoenix, Arizona. She is Organist and Assistant Minister of Music at Valley Presbyterian Church in Paradise Valley, AZ.  She also serves as Sub-Dean of the Central Arizona Chapter of the American Guild of Organists.

This will be a recital of accessible music from the standard organ repertoire as well as lighter pieces including pieces based on spirituals from American Composers.
