Annette Richards, University Organist at Cornell University, will perform music of Bach, Buxtehude, and others on the Paul Fritts organ at St. Alban’s. The program includes the Toccata in F and Passacaglia in D minor by Buxtehude, the Fantasia and Fugue in C minor and Pièce d’Orgue (also known as Fantasia in G) by Bach, the Moderato in F by 19th-century English organist Elizabeth Stirling, a chorale prelude by the late Dutch organist Jacques van Oortmerssen, plus the Capriccio sopra il Cucho by Frescobaldi and Il Rossignolo (The Nightingale) by Alessandro Poglietti. Admission is free; donations will be accepted.
