SUMMARY:SAAGO Educational Series: "Look\, Ma\, No Hands!" Using ForScore Presented by Dr. Valerie Harris
DESCRIPTION:Saturday\, October 17\, 2026 10AM\nCatalina United Methodist Church\n2700 E. Speedway Blvd.\nTucson\, AZ \n Dr. Harris presents a workshop on using ForScore\, the sheet music digital app designed exclusively for iOS\, iPadOS\, macOS\, and visionOS. The app’s clean interface gives you quick access to the tools you need\, then fades away so you can focus on your music. Musicians can use the app to digitally organize their music libraries; turn pages via screen taps\, custom gestures\, or hands-free with a Bluetooth pedal. This amazingly powerful app allows one to annotate\, create setlists\, rearrange pages\, add bookmarks\, play along to an audio track\, and more with an abundance of tools to help you turn practice into performance. \nThis all sounds complicated; however\, Dr. Harris breaks the app down into understandable parts in her presentation with demonstrations of how the app works. More and more musicians are using tablets these days rather than carrying around suitcases filled with scores and lead sheets; therefore\, this is a presentation YOU WILL NOT WANT TO MISS!!
