Join your colleagues for an interesting and informative program on the art of pipe making—the history, the principles guiding the creation of a particular pipe and sound, the techniques, and how all is integrated to create the ultimate outcome—a beautiful pipe that requires little voicing by the pipe voicers.

Ken will discuss and share images of the various stages of pipe making, illustrating the options for arriving at that end

St. Mark’s Schantz organ: Built in 1992, the organ has 33 ranks. There is a mixture on each of the three manual divisions, and a full set of reeds (Krumhorn on the Positiv; Oboe, Bombard, and Trumpet on the Swell; and Trompette on the Great). The combination action is configured with 26 memory levels.
